The Next Wave on Lower Manhattan's East River Waterfront

Celebrate the rich waterfront history and the new and revitalized attractions along the edge of Lower Manhattan. Sites include the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, the Battery Maritime Building (the gateway to Governors Island), Pier 11/Wall St. Ferry Terminal, NYCEDC's East River Waterfront Development Project, South Street Seaport, Peck Slip, and more.

Meet at the top of the escalators at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, next to Battery Park.

Transit: #1 train to South Ferry; R train to Whitehall; #4, 5 trains to Bowling Green.
