The Oyster and the Clean Water Act
The Oyster and the Clean Water Act What is the current status of oyster restoration and what is planned for the future? What regulatory opportunities and constraints are there for water quality improvements? New restoration projects involving oysters are taking place around the harbor. With new water quality standards for the harbor coming on line, what role will they play in enhancing water quality? What additional research is needed to overcome practical, regulatory, and implementation barriers to restoration and water quality improvements?
