Waterfront Edge Design for the Rising Tide and Aquatic Life
Making MOMA’s Rising Currents and other innovative waterfront designs real. From new housing developments to great and new parks, much of our waterfront use and contour is being defined for the indefinite future. How do we maintain design and permitting flexibility for a world class waterfront? How do we make innovative ecological design and restoration, from small bulkhead redesigns to the Rising Currents exhibition at Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), real in New York and New Jersey? What are the regulatory, social, and planning barriers and how can they be addressed?
