Jesseanne Ribaudo joined the Waterfront Alliance as our Senior Education Manager and is responsible for the coordination, development, and oversight of all of our educational programs. Jesse is a native New Yorker who comes to Waterfront Alliance with 10+ years’ experience working with local environmental non-profits around the city, including Randall’s Island Park Alliance, City Parks Foundation, American Littoral Society: Northeast Chapter, Wildlife Conservation Society: New York Aquarium, and Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy. Throughout her career she has focused on educating youth and the public about our local marine ecosystems and waterfronts, as well as hands-on field work restoring these areas. She is passionate about raising awareness about the importance of resilient waterfronts in urban areas and inspiring the next generation of environmental ambassadors in the city she grew up in through first hand, interactive experiences in our waterways.

Fun fact: Jesse’s passions for marine environmental education were first sparked through attending the New York Harbor School, which has a close partnership with Waterfront Alliance.
