Lauren Carey

Office Administrator and Assistant to the President

Lauren Carey oversees administration of the Waterfront Alliance, helping to maintain office operations and financial bookkeeping, and supports the president and CEO with his schedule. Before joining the Waterfront Alliance, Lauren supported program development and communications for an education access initiative in Guatemala and served as a CUNY Service Corps research assistant at the CUNY School of Public Health. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication sciences and disorders from Queens College, and is currently, pursuing a second Bachelors degree in environmental science at Lehman College where her research focuses on risk perception of disasters.
