Sharon Bardales supports the day-to-day operations at the Waterfront Alliance. With a background in community organizing, Sharon’s work across nonprofits and media is dedicated to building an equitable future for all.  

Before joining, Sharon was the Project Manager for the Latinx Freedom Project, a public history initiative dedicated to preserving the history of the Latinx civil rights movement.  

Earlier in her career, Sharon worked for Pineapple Street Studios, where she supported the production of numerous award-winning shows such as Back Issue, Love Thy Neighbor, The Wonder of Stevie, and the 11th.

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in economics from John Jay College and enjoys playing catch with her miniature red poodle.
